My private practice is limited to cases I feel passionate about, be it civil rights, privacy, government accountability or special education. I am an adjunct professor and teach a variety of college law courses at Saint Martin's University and South Puget Sound Community College.

In my private practice, I represent various individuals, community groups, for profit and non-profit organizations and businesses.
I served on the editorial board of the Journal of College and University Law. I am a member of the Washington Bar Association, Washington State Trial Lawyers Association I also serve as Washington State Director for the Initiative and Referendum Institute, based at the University of Southern California.
